โManual Alignment
You can manually align some or all of the rig by setting keys on the lock values (the frame will typically be automatically flagged as a Key frame in the process).
You can adjust the spinner values directly, or drag the rig's objects in the perspective view. Note that normally dragging the rig puts keys only on unlocked joints, so you should unlock the appropriate joints first. You can override that by turning on Adjust Rig, permitting adjustments even over the course of a shot, but this is hazardous!
